Directions

Route 1 - From the M2 J7 (Brenley Corner) - junction with the A2

  • Continue on to the A299 towards Margate and Ramsgate (right hand lane at end of the M2)
  • Take the first exit sign posted Faversham, Graveney and Goodnestone (Marked as '1' On The Map)
  • In 75 metres take the first right, sign posted Goodnestone & Graveney
  • Follow the road through Goodnestone and Graveney and then onto the salt marshes (Beware of oncoming traffic at the bridge over the railway in Graveney and the 30MPH speed limit)
  • In another 2 kilometres, as you pass the 'Sportsman' public house, you meet the sea wall. Follow this for approximately 400 metres and the Club is the first building on the left.

Route 2 - From The M2 J7 (Recommended for towing larger catamarans)

  • Continue on to the A299 for approximately 4 kilometres until you have crossed a raised viaduct
  • Leave the A299 at the junction sign posted Whitstable (Marked as '2' on The Map)
  • Straight over the 1st Roundabout (2nd Exit)
  • Left at the 2nd Roundabout (1st Exit)
  • Proceed down to the bottom of the hill until you pass the Fire Station and then a filling station
  • Turn Left immediately after the filling station (Just after the road bears right)
  • Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometres when you will pass under a low railway bridge and then a large caravan site.

The road now follows the shoreline and between beachfront chalets. Once the beach side chalets finish there is beach front parking and the next two storey building on that side is the Club.

Route 3 - From the A299 London bound carriageway

  • Take the Whitstable and Canterbury exit slip road and turn right (4th exit) at the roundabout - over the A299
  • Take the 2nd exit from the next roundabout
  • Proceed down to the bottom of the hill until you pass the Fire Station and then a filling station
  • Turn Left immediately after the filling station (Just after the road bears right)
  • Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometres when you will pass under a low railway bridge and past a caravan site.
